Screenshot of my progression regarding my double page spread.

With my double page spread I made a lot of changes in order to make it better each time. below is how my first trail at my double page spread before getting feedback. This is how I first started, as you can see the background is dull and the 3 pictures at the bottom are all the same. there isn't anything that was standing out so before continuing I had to make a lot of changes. This was one side of my double page spread, I added a colour background that would again linked to all my 3 pages together. This made my page stand out and appeal a little bit more to my target audience much a lot of things had to change in order for my to reach top marks and appeal to my target audience. My double page spread was getting there at this point, as I changed a lot of things however it was to bland and there wasn't a lot of my double page spread and i was lacking with conventions. This was my final double page spread, I used all the conventions of a double page spread and included all my audience feedback. I sued quotes and made all text and titles stand out a lot more. I enlarged my main image so that it stood out to the audience a lot more and took additional pictures so no pictures were the same in the same outfits.

My contents took me the most time when completing this product. Below is how my contents page looked when I first did it without the feedback. The feedback I got was very constrictive as my target audience wasn't interested in it and it didn't appeal to them at all. They said the range of colour was dull and the pictures all looked the same from my front cover and there was enough on the page of them to really been interested in reading my magazine. After taking all the feedback on board I then came up with this on. I changed the background so it would link to my front cover and used bright bold colours. I included different pictures however some of my text was hard to see and all the images were from the same day so I knew this had to change. This was my final product I put all my feedback together and used all the conventions of a music magazine contents page. I used a whole range of images with all different people and places and used the same colour scheme throughout which is bold and bright.

During my whole product I changed a lot on my front cover, double page spread and my contents page as I listened to feedback, saw what did go well and what didn't look right. Below is a picture of what my front cover looks liked at the start when I didn't ask for feedback at this point. For my first front cover I tried to use many conventions and have a plain background. I tired so hard to make it fit my target audience but after the feedback they said it doesn't appeal to them its to dull and boring and many of them didn't understand the name and didn't think it fit with my magazine. I then made slight changed to it which one of the things were, changing the name of the magazine as ' Audio weekly' didn't stand out and the fact I was publishing my magazine monthly the word 'weekly' didn't fit right. This was finally my end product with all the editing and changing, I changed many of my fonts the layout so it was a lot more clearer and my background so it was stand out a lot more and much more bright.
